An Extra Credit Card

Yesterday a messenger rang our doorbell and he told me that I have a letter from a company I thought was heading over to extinction. hahaha. He was carrying the envelope already and it was a little bit big compared to the ordinary envelopes I am receiving from banks, insurance companies etc. The messenger asked me for an id because he told me he is delivering a CREDIT CARD.

I thought I heard wrong since I have not enrolled to any credit card company because I am not employed. I am using two credit cards but this are just supplementary from my sister (yeah, my sister is that generous…lol! and trust me a lot). I quickly open the envelope ( and yes I am excited!) and saw the GOLD card. And what’s more was the credit limit was really big. I thought it was some kind of a joke. That the credit card company thought I was still employed and gave me a pre approved card. But the truth is I am welcoming the idea of having a third credit card. Having a credit card puts me at ease because they come in handy for emergency purposes.

So to put my mind at ease I called their hotline for the activation of the card. Indeed the company has my personal information and I was keeping my fingers crossed when I told them that I don’t have an office phone since I am unemployed. I was already expecting a rejection due to unemployment but was suprised to hear the line ‘Maam, your credit card is now activated. Whoa!’. You might be thinking why they gave me a credit card? Well, because they are connected with the insurance company hubby and anevay has policy.

I am quite delighted by the additional card. You see I have learned to used my card well. Thanks to my sister who taught me how. I would used the credit card but I make sure that I pay all the credits I used on the due date. It’s just like delaying the cash out. if you wanted to learn more about credit cards and those which will suit you well you might want to check out the Extra Credit Cards website. You will learn a lot about credit cards there.
