Walk for LUPUS Philippines
I received an invite on my Facebook account regarding the walk for lupus. I am quite familiar with this event since its being held year round in the US and I have been reading about it. But here in our country, the LUPUS organization do not conduct one until now. If you are interested here are the details :
Date: Sunday, November 29, 2009
Time: 5:30am – 9:00am
Location: Plaza Mayor – UST Main Bldg.
This event will help the LUpus InSpired Advocacy (LUISA) Project and the Lupus Foundation of the Philippines (LFA) raise awareness and funds to save the lives of people suffering from the often overshadowed and overlooked autoimmune disease, lupus. Funds raised will support lupus research, education programs and patient and family support services.
*This event is open to all- doctors, students, patients, friends and caregivers to someone who has lupus.
*Registration starts at 5:30 am at Plaza Mayor, UST main building.
*Registration fee is P100.
I wanted to participate but the event is too early and the location is far.
