Last night there was a report of a child who died because of typhoid fever. If you think about it, typhoid fever is not life threatening, right? It’s really a simple case of fever and stomachache. But what drove the child to his death was the treatment he and his family received from different hospitals in their province. The first hospital where they went declined to admit him and he was brought home. Later, since the fever did not went down the mother tried to seek help to other hospital (which unfortunately did not treat them any better). The mother complained, the staff in one of the hospital even just continued talking to each other and never gave them their utmost attention.

My first plan is to just go to the mall with the little girl next week to celebrate her 3rd birthday. Since their school don’t allow birthday celebrations I just thought not to splurge and just give her a budget for new toys. Then later I realized that I wanted a simple celebration just like the one I did last year. I have some spaghetti and chicken delivered to our house and invited some kids over. It’s simple but fun. Then I also bought some toys from Ebay as a gift for her.
