Over the past couple of days I have been reading a lot about Michael Jackson. More on the side of him suffering from LUPUS. The more I read, the more I pity the man and the more I come to adore him. I admit in the past I was not a fan because of all the rumors surrounding him. But as I come to the know MJ through write ups I realized he was a victim of wrong publicity. And the man has suffered enough disease in his lifetime without enough support.

July has always been the month for rains here in our country. And that’s also the time for the increase of dengue cases for our country. In an attempt to prevent the disease come to the students in the preschool that Anevay is attending, they have sent out a circular allowing the kids to wear jogging pants and long sleeves when it’s raining. They call that outfit, ‘dengue outfit’. And since I am also afraid of the disease I make it a point to put in insect repellent before she goes to school. And if it’s raining, I would definitely make her wear jogging pants. That’s why today I went to the market to look for orange jogging pants (since she is wearing orange skorts as part of their uniform).

Though I am a little embarrassed that I coming in late, I still went inside Pan de Amerikana for the free taichi lessons. I told myself that this is just a good opportunity that I can’t let passed. When I arrived the group is resting. And as I expected most of the participants are already on the senior citizen categories which I think most of them are battling stiff muscles and arthritis. The Taichi instructor is good in explaining the steps and also the reason for the routine.

Monday, I had my manicure, foot spa and pedicure. Today, I went to the free tai chi lessons that was being given out in a nearby restaurant. After which I made a trip to the market to look for some stuff for the little girl. Tomorrow, I plan to do some cleaning starting with our storage area and our room. Indeed, having two and a half hours of alone time while the little girl is in school is a liberating time for me right now. It gives me a lot of opportunity to do some things that I cannot do when the little girl is still a baby. I am already motivated to keep on moving so that I can also lose weight. I wanted to shed off some pounds so that when the time comes that we would head of to the beach in the not so far future I can wear some nice beach clothes. Hopefully we can get that vacation. Of course, if given a choice I would definitely go for a romantic cancun vacation but I just have to dream about if for now. lol. Who knows one of these days the husband would surprise me and give me plain ticket to visit the Riviera Maya. That would definitely be nice!

I grew up admiring her. I was in elementary when she was elected and was put on history books as the first woman president of the Philippines and in Asia. I would watch in awe as she gives out her speech and tons and tons of people would show their support to her by shouting ‘Cory! Cory!’. Especially after those failed coup attempts. In my young mind, I salute her for her strength and more so her faith in the Lord. For me, she is not only a woman of power but more importantly she is a woman who seek guidance in prayers.
