Having LUPUS has made me aware of different cures that can make my life easier and pain free. I always say that I do not only relay on medicine and my doctor but also I find ways and do my own research to heal myself. I remember discovering alternative medicine, massage and even yoga as a way to strenghten myself so that I won’t crumble whenever I have a flare. All of my research have help me along the way. And I can say having an open mind have help me in my battle with my disease.
I read this from the LFA website and I am re-posting it here to spread the word.
The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is aware of the concern that people with lupus may have about the recent outbreak of the H1N1 (Swine) Flu. Please know that the LFA is monitoring the situation and consulting with our National Medical-Scientific Advisory Council on the possible impact of this virus on people with lupus.
And so I am broken hearted right now because my plan of going for a late summer getaway won’t pushed through because of the early start of school and the emergence of the Ah1n1 virus. But I am still hopeful that I can convince the husband that we go out of town on one of the weekends that he is here for vacation. Though I really wanted to ride the plane but I think a long drive down south or north would be okay for now. But in the future I am hoping we can go somewhere that is new to us like Golf Myrtle Beach.
This song has been on my mind every since I heard it. Last night I was able to get a copy of its mp3 so I decided to put in my cellphone so I can play it when I fell like I need a good morale boost. I don’t know why but something in this song made me lift my mood anytime of the day. Maybe its rhyme, the way it was sung or its lyrics. Whatever it is I always love hearing it. So, let me share with you the video I got from youtube.
