For this week, I am going to share with you one of the legends from Philippine Mythology. The LEGEND OF MARIANG MAKILING.

Maria Makiling, sometimes spelled Mariang Makiling, in Philippine Mythology, is a fairy or forest nymph associated with Mount Makiling in Laguna,Philippines.  This is where she lives.

I don’t know if I am making the right decision but due to the economic financial crisis and the rumours surrounding the pre need company I decided to opt for a lower payment policy for the little one’s educational plan. The economy is so unstable today that you don’t know which company would be next to fold. And that’s what really bugging me. The agent was telling me that I might just be panicking and I don’t have to worry but I told her there are just too many factors right now to consider so I think it would be best not to roll out such a big amount for something that is unsure. Good thing she agreed or else I don’t know what I’ll do. Lol.

was a very special day for a very special woman in my life. And because I was so busy it was only in the afternoon that I remember that it was the 16th and it is her birthday. Sometimes life can get busy that I lost tracked of the date. But good thing I remember it and I said a little prayer for her. Unfortunately even if I wanted to greet her personally I can only send mine through prayers because that’s the only way I can say my birthday greeting. Yeah, my mommy celebrated her birthday yesterday and yes, she is celebrating it in heaven.

is getting drier everyday and I don’t have any idea what to do about it. I am already using gloves (though not religiously), applying lotion (not daily..haha!) and I think I am drinking ounches upon ounches of water to keep me hydrated. Right now I am finding ways to mend it because my hands are really flaky. Maybe because I have been actively using them to wash dishes and feeding bottles and clean the sink and our bathroom. Just yesterday I was on a cleaning mood I scrub the tiles in the bathroom and later I realized I already have bruises on my fingers because when I washed my hand I can feel some pain. Now my hands are all red. Huhu. On a different note I am watching some youtube videos about LUPUS and boy there are a lot. Well, LUPUS is some disease that is as unknown as Mesothelioma but videos like this creates awareness. Try searching the lupus videos in youtube.
